The Quebec City Police Department (SPVQ) is investigating an arson that occurred at a residential building in the Limoilou sector on Sunday evening.

The Quebec Fire Protection Service (SPCIQ) was called to a fire at a residence on 4th Avenue, near 3rd Street, around 8 p.m.
SPCIQ firefighters dispatched to the scene quickly brought the fire under control, causing minor damage to the building.
The fire was of criminal origin, an SPVQ spokesman said, adding that no one was injured in the incident.
According to our information, a burning object was thrown into an apartment.
SPVQ investigators, assisted by the Forensic Identification Unit and a dog handler, went to the scene to analyze the scene.
Investigators are working with the fire commissioner to determine the causes and circumstances of this fire, it said.
According to the SPVQ, the fire is not related to the organized crime war that has been ravaging the east of the province for some time.
