Security forces are searching for a prisoner from Aranjuez prison who escaped this Thursday after hitting the two National Police officers guarding him and escaping as he was being transferred from the police station to the Madrid City Courts, as confirmed became this newspaper correctional institutions.
The escape of this inmate happened around 10:30 am this Thursday after he arrived from the prison at the police station to be transferred to the courts by the National Police. At one point, the prisoner threw himself on two of the officers guarding him and fled. The two officers were injured.
According to ABC, the prisoner is Mario GR, 20 years old and in prison since being accused of stabbing another 25-year-old man during a discussion at the Nambroca (Toledo) celebrations in May 2022. . He was born in the Polígono de Toledo neighborhood and has tattoos on his head and neck.
