It’s time to get to know Letizia and her story better. The photographer is called into “Mystery” where a confrontation with herself awaits her, the story of her life, from her childhood to the loss of her father Osvaldo.
Letizia’s parents, Sara and Osvaldo, met in the municipality of San Patrignano, where the competitor later grew up. “My mother was afraid that I would make her own mistakes again,” said Letizia, who credits her mother for her strictness, education and control. The most imaginative and extroverted part came from his father. A father who was her great love, her companion at games and confessions: “You can’t experience a love like that again,” says the girl, “He was a father until the end.”
Her father died a few years ago as a result of an illness, said the photographer. “It made me grow up quickly. I think my father is very proud of me.”
“I have to live my life and prove to everyone that I am a good person, because I know that I am a good person,” that is the promise that Letizia made to herself, with her father and for her father life.
The competitor then talks about the last moments of her father’s life, it was the night of December 31st and a nurse calls her and her mother about an emergency. The man was tied to the cars and the two women had to decide what to do. “My father was too big a person to leave,” says the participant. “He was a father until the last minute because he decided to leave. He died at that moment.”
Then the conversation turns to her relationship with her mother. Before their father’s death, the two women had a complex relationship that consisted of discussions, misunderstandings and arguments. After this event everything changed, now they are two friends, they are inseparable and there are no disagreements or divisions: “These events either separate you or unite you and my mother and I have become one: it is my life.”
The candidate runs into the garden, where a surprise awaits her: her mother. The two women become one again, a long hug, as long as their smile, as much as their love. “The best thing is that you do what you couldn’t do before: you talk to dad all the time, in a unique way,” says his mother.
“I just scared you,” adds Sara, his mother, but Letizia doesn’t accept it: “You gave me everything.” Then they both smile and think of their father: “He’ll be strutting around somewhere.” Also the mother The participant speaks for the man who is no longer with us, both were proud of their daughter and always will be.
Sara talks about her current day, she follows her daughter every day. At first he found it difficult to accept this adventure, but now he says he is excited about the experience his daughter is having.
