On an ordinary morning, everything went wrong at Tere Cazola, a small pastry shop in Campeche. Around one o’clock a thief came through the door and started threatening the clerk behind the counter. “Give me the whole mess, gimme I don’t care you’re recording, gimme your phone,” the subject began yelling, a man with a white cap covering his face and a long-sleeved blue shirt. The employee is coping with the situation much better than the thief expected.
Maybe she was scared, but she manages to escape from the counter that was attached to the wall while the thief goes to the computer where he suspects the cash register. “There he is, there he is,” he signals to the man as he walks to the door. “Where, where, where,” says the thief, somewhat nervously. He searches the computer and drawers while watching the lady walk towards the entrance. He seems confused, offended by the crime he is committing and wants it all to end as soon as possible.
So the lady in a brave act that went viral At the same moment that he was uploaded to the webs, he exits the store, takes a small jump, grabs the gate and drops it on the ground. The thief raises his head and runs to the gate. He tries to upload it but fails, the lady has already blocked it. The man panics, bangs loudly on the metal and begins to beg for help: “Mom, help me, help me.” Then, trying to find an escape route, he blocks the front door with a cupboard and goes to the back.
There’s a small window up there on the wall, but it’s closed and just there to let in some light. Desperate, the thief returns to the main room, says “no, no, no” and finds a fire extinguisher hanging on the wall. He grabs it, goes back and bangs on the glass until he manages to break it. Eventually he escapes, sticks his body through the small opening and goes outside. Local media reports that the person was arrested by police shortly after he fled.
