Philadelphia Phillies star player Bryce Harper was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Colorado Rockies.
Harper stormed the Rockies’ dugout when the seventh inning was over. The right fielder got into a fight with Rockies relief player Jake Bird when he made a clapping gesture with his glove in front of Harper.
The latter was stabbed and quickly exited the Phillies’ safehouse before both teams’ benches emptied. Rockies catcher Elias Díaz and Phillies third base coach Dusty Wathan tried to stop the 30-year-old.
Bird was also kicked from the game.
The Rockies won the game 4-0.
