This weekend, Adele made headlines both above and below the stage. The singer was in the city of Las Vegas to perform a concert when she was suffering from severe sciatic nerve conditions, which she says has forced her to lie on her dressing room floor for long periods of time. However, due to his professionalism, the audience did not notice his discomfort during the nearly two-hour show. Of course, he witnessed his great character when the British decided to interrupt his presentation to challenge one of his security guards who was harassing one of his fans.
“I’m going to sit down and rest my sciatica,” were the only words Adele said during a break in her performance, in reference to her chronic back pain. According to The Sun, this happened behind the scenes, so her followers didn’t find out until minutes later, when the composer of “Hello” decided to narrate it on the stage of the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Now it’s not the first time that Adele has spoken out about her back problems. In a previous appearance, the singer had already spoken about this condition when she decided to open t-shirts to the public. “I’ve got two more, I just have to get to the other side of the stage. I have to walk slowly these days because I have a lot of pain in my sciatic nerve,” said the professional, who, despite everything, never shied away from canceling her lecture.
According to experts, sciatica is a condition that generally occurs when pressure is applied to part of the sciatic nerve, resulting in extreme pain. This nerve starts in the lower back and runs down the back of each leg, controlling the muscles behind the knee and lower leg. This pressure — caused by an injury or as a symptom of another health problem — causes pain, weakness, numbness, and even tingling in the leg.
After being convinced of her professionalism, the crowd that had come on Saturday night also witnessed her character as the artist halted her concert and caught the attention of a security guard for “disturbing” a fan.
The event happened while the interpreter was singing her song “Water Under The Bridge”. “What’s going on with that young fan over there?” she asked as she walked to the edge of the stage. “Have you been teased so many times for getting up? Why are they bothering you? Can you please leave him alone?” he asked the bodyguard as the audience cheered.

“They won’t bother you again, honey,” he finished while apologizing to the other viewers for interrupting the song. “Sorry, I was harassed by security and other people sitting behind him throughout the show. He’s here to have fun, okay? You are all here to have fun.”he explained when he asked his band to start the song over.
It’s also not the first time Adele has appeared confident on stage. He already did it a month ago, after a series of episodes in which several singers – Kelsea Ballerini, Bebe Rexha, Pink, Monica among others – were hit by objects thrown by the audience on different shows. “Have you noticed that people just forget about the show and just throw shit on the stage? Did you see that? I dare you, I dare you to throw something at me. “I’ll kill you,” she shot angrily.
His warnings came after singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha was injured in New York City when a fan threw her cellphone at her, hitting her in the eye. Not only did the artist have to cancel the rest of her lecture, but she even received points. Already recovering, Rexha continued her tour of Philadelphia with a special request: “We’re all here to have a good time; “Tonight please don’t hold phones in my face, I beg of you,” he joked.
Pop icon Pink also got quite a surprise while in London when a fan threw her a bag of her mum’s ashes while another gave her a piece of brie cheese, apparently baffling the artist.
For her part, Taylor Swift did not receive a strange item, but experienced a similar situation to Adele last May. The American was in Philadelphia for one of her stops on the Eras Tour when she also had to interrupt one of her performances to attract the attention of a member of the security team. “She’s fine, she hasn’t done anything,” he yelled while performing his hit song “Bad Blood.”
