AFL star Adam Cooney has tip on attending the new season of ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’! Australia

Former AFL star Adam Cooney is set to head into the jungle as one of the cast members in the latest series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia.

The Western Bulldogs and Essendon star has already made a successful transition into the television world on Channel Seven show Armchair Experts.

Now it looks like he’s swapping a cozy studio for wilderness camping and bushtucker tries in South Africa, according to the Herald Sun.

The athlete, who won the AFL’s prestigious individual medal in 2008, is expected to join some other big names on the show when it airs on Channel 10 from April 2.

Rumors have been circulating about who else will be taking part in the ninth season of the popular program.

A recent trailer for the reality TV show confirms that a footballer, comedian, boxer and chef have signed – and an insider recently weighed in on the potential favorites.

“Rugby league star Sam Burgess should be front runners. And the comedian is either Tommy Little or Peter Helliar,” the source told New Idea.

They added that celebrity chef Shannon Bennett and lightweight boxing champion Lauryn Eagle are also likely candidates.

“Tommy is one of the last comedians in Ten’s books, and they may have some loose ends to be tied up in Pete’s contract after he leaves The Project,” the spy said.

The upcoming season of I’m a Celebrity will be hosted by Dr. Chris Brown, 44, and Julia Morris, 54.

And even though Dr. Chris Brown left Channel 10 after 15 years and signed with rival network Channel Seven.

The latest trailer shows the presenters performing a song with dancers in the background and wild animals on a plane into the African jungle.
