But when the first four seasons are sold to Fox and broadcast on the small screen, the futuristic world Groening envisioned will eventually die out. futurama celebrates its comeback!
Ten years have passed since the last season of futurama. Other sci-fi animated series have since emerged, but none have come close to the one introduced by Matt Groening. So why not give Bender, Fry, Leela and the other protagonists of the saga another chance? Well, that’s exactly what the Disney+ platform has set out to do! In fact, the platform announced in a press release that after a ten-year absence the program whichhas lost none of its snappy wit and original cast“returned with an eleventh season, consisting of ten episodes, from this Monday, July 24th.

While waiting for D-Day, which is not long in coming, fans of the series can already enjoy the first images of this eleventh season. Actually the trailer released by the Disney+ platform (seen in our video player above) lets us see that Fry, Leela, Bender, Amy Wong, Hermes Conrad, Professor Hubert or even Doctor Zoidberg have lost none of their vibrancy and madness despite the passage of time!
