6 year old child shot Teacher sues school for 40 million

After his teacher was shot: A child is said to have said disturbing words

Unsealed search warrants have revealed the disturbing words of a six-year-old boy who allegedly said after he shot his teacher in Virginia on January 6.

“I shot that bitch,” the kid allegedly said after punching his teacher in the stomach, according to Amy Kovac, a staffer at Newport News Richneck Elementary School, who observed the scene.

“I did,” the boy reportedly added. I got my mom’s gun last night.

According to Fox News, Ms. Kovac held the child until police arrived.

The victim, Abigail Zwerner, a 25-year-old teacher, rushed to the school reception but collapsed and was taken to the hospital.

The child wounded him with a 9 mm caliber Taurus pistol. Abigail Zwerner was rescued after a hospital stay.

On the day of the crime, two students reportedly told Amy Kovac they saw the boy with a gun in his backpack. The clerk and a school administrator reportedly searched the student’s backpack during recess but did not find the firearm.

In April, the child’s mother, Deja Taylor, was prosecuted for “parental failure” and “endangering a minor by leaving a loaded firearm”. Her lawyers pointed out that she was suffering from mental health problems at the time her son committed the crime.

Abigail Zwerner sued the school for $40 million, alleging that the facility ignored signs emerging from the child’s behavior and numerous warnings from staff and other students.

His lawyers said the school received three warnings to let them know the boy was carrying a gun.
