In an interview with columnist Zean Bravo of the newspaper Extra, the famous revealed that she would not be taking any vacations. The reason? She has a very busy concert calendar in Brazil, mainly due to São João, which takes place in the northeastern states in June. In July, it will be seen in cities in Rio and São Paulo.
In the conversation, Lucy Alves also commented on whether she thinks that speaking publicly about her bisexuality helps other people normalize the issue.
“Hopefully. Mainly because opening up that intimacy has only one purpose, which is to use the reach of my voice to normalize something that should always be treated that way. I think the subject is still a taboo, although that’s changing Scenario developed,” said the actress.
The Global said the community has come out of a place of “very still, oppressive and castrated” because now there is space and openness for everyone to be what they want.
She even stressed that more public action is needed to protect the rights of minorities.
