Alec Musser has died: Soap star from “All My Children” turned 50

Alec Musser, known for his starring role in “All My Children,” has died. He was 50.

The soap star's fiancée, Paige Press, confirmed the news to Deadline. The press took to social media to pay tribute to Musser, posting a series of pictures on her Instagram stories.

“Rest to the love of my life. @alecmusser I will never stop loving you,” reads a Press post featuring clips of Musser from magazines. “My heart is so broken.”

In another story, Press shared a red carpet photo alongside Musser with the caption: “Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy.”

“You were the best fiancé I could ever ask for. I don’t even think I can drive my G-Wagen anymore,” Press wrote in another post.

The press published a photo of Musser and her dog and called him “the best dog dad” alongside his date of birth (April 11, 1973) and date of death (January 13, 2024).

“I will never take my ring off,” Press wrote in another post sharing her engagement ring. “[Alec]I love you forever.”

The Press said Musser died at his home in Del Mar but did not release details about the cause of death.

Musser played Del Henry between 2005 and 2007, in a total of 43 episodes. He scored points on the ABC soap after becoming the winner of the second season of SOAPnet's I Wanna Be a Soap Star.

Other films include Road to the Altar (2009), Rita Rocks (2009), Grown Ups (2010), The Phantom Executioner (2010) and Desperate Housewives (2011).

Adam Sandler, who co-starred with Musser in 2010's “Grown Ups,” took to social media to express his condolences.

“I loved this guy. I can't believe he's gone. Such a wonderful, funny, good man. I'm thinking of him and his family and sending all my love. “A truly great treasure,” Sandler wrote.
