Alfredo Adame receives another blow, but this time from the treasury: his bank accounts would have been frozen

Alfredo Adame would have millions in debt with the Mexican Ministry of Finance, TVyNovelas magazine reported March 15.

The publication had access to the official document issued on February 23, which states that the actor must do so 3.4 million pesos ($178,949) to the treasury since 2017. However, the number has been increasing 9.8 million pesos ($515,794)for late fees.

The concept that Adame did not pay for is “VAT, provisional payments for legal entities and individuals,” it said.

“The ‘contribution surcharge’ debt is also piling up, which is another list of 15 payments the actor failed to make,” the magazine explains.

The official document also states that the Treasury issued a payment request and an embargo in August 2016 and June 2022. According to TVyNovelas, the tax office even states that it has been in debt since February 2010.

Bank accounts immobilized by Alfredo Adame

According to the filing, at the time of the immobilization carried out on January 23, 2023, two of Adame’s bank accounts had no money, only one of them had the amount of 260,000 pesos ($13,736).

After notifying the Tax Administration Service (SAT), Alfredo Adame must update himself on the payments or his debt will increase.

“It is announced that the post will be updated as long as it does not cover the total amount of the debt will continue to cause surcharges for late payment or late payment surcharges for each month or fraction that elapses before full payment is made,” the statement said.

Financial problems of Alfredo Adame

In April 2021, the Mexican actor was linked to the proceedings for failing to notify the SAT of his change of tax address.
