Alianza Lima reacts sharply to the FPF after the suspension of the game against Vallejo

The blue and white board opposed the FPF, stressing that they will not leave 1190 Sports’ cameras in matute because they respect the contract signed with the consortium.

The conflict over television rights continues to affect the development of Liga 1. This time, after the suspension of Binacional and Melgar games, the FPF announced that the game between Alianza Lima and César Vallejo has been postponed because 1190 Sports was not allowed to attend cameras. With that in mind, the Victorian team sent a letter to deny the company’s actions and to emphasize that they will respect the contract with the Peru Football Consortium.

In the document, the intimate institution begins by stating the reasons preventing GolPerú from broadcasting its matches in the local tournament. Among these, the precautionary measure requested by the federal government stands out.

“We have a television rights deal with a company. This has informed us that it cannot broadcast because you have obtained a precautionary measure that suspends the effectiveness of this contract. Because we respect the rule of law, we recognize the implications of a court order,” the letter reads.
