Alleged blueface attacker arrested for stabbing rapper at LA gym… 36-year-old man released from jail after posting bail

A 36-year-old man has been arrested, posted bail and released from jail in connection with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the stabbing attack on rapper Blueface.

Police sources told TMZ Thursday that the suspect in the incident, Brandon Henry Snell, turned himself in to authorities Wednesday and was taken into custody in the stabbing that took place hours earlier at a Los Angeles-area boxing gym.

The star, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter, is suffering from wounds from the conflict but was cleaned up by medics and is now recovering, TMZ claimed.

The incident happened Wednesday while the 26-year-old musician was training at a Kaminsky boxing studio in Reseda, California, TMZ previously reported.

Blueface was in the middle of a training session at the time before the stabbing.

The man, believed to be Snell, was reportedly seen wearing a white tank top with light blue jeans and white sneakers while reportedly walking into the gym with his rottweiler, who was not involved in the altercation, the outlet reported .

Snell brought the dog to the police station, and a relative later came and picked him up, police told TMZ.

In footage of the incident, Blueface wore a black tank top, light beige shorts and bright blue high-top sneakers.

Security footage shared by the rapper on his Instagram account showed a trainer named David Kaminsky wearing a black shirt and gray shorts.

Kaminsky tried to put himself between Snell and Blueface to end the verbal argument.

“I will not be able to fight on October 14th due to an injury and will not have enough time to heal. Don’t say I ducked, my brother came in at 10am with a dog and a knife,” Blueface said on Instagram after the incident.

The heated argument escalated to verbal levels as Blueface seemed to lose patience.

With his boxing gloves still on, Blueface punched the man, believed to be Snell, multiple times in the face.

The man, believed to be Snell, then stepped back, pulled a knife from his jeans pocket, and began charging at the rapper, eventually stabbing him. The video was cut off before Blueface was stabbed.

Kaminsky told TMZ Hip Hop that he doesn’t know the identity of the suspect who told the singer, “I’m going to kill you.”

Onlookers told the website that the man with the knife drove away in a black Tesla Model S, the outlet reported. Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated Blueface.

The incident comes two months after Blueface was arrested in court and taken into police custody in June for his alleged involvement in a Las Vegas robbery.

During a preliminary hearing on his attempted murder charge, the Holy Moly hitmaker was “taken into police custody” and “charged with a felony,” according to TMZ.

In November 2022, the Los Angeles native was arrested on charges of attempted murder in Las Vegas in connection with an October shooting outside the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club.

The actor was arrested outside of Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles as part of what appears to be a covert operation.

At the time, eyewitnesses observed that between six and eight officers were in unmarked vehicles making the arrest.

Blueface has a three-year-old son named Javaughn J. Porter with his ex-girlfriend Javaughn J. Porter. He is currently expecting a baby with Chrisean who is 24 weeks pregnant.

In May, she shared a video of herself undergoing an ultrasound with the long caption that she needed to “pray away the fear of motherhood.”

“I’m currently documenting with @thezeusnetwork and it’s super overwhelming because this pregnancy was planned but now he sees no future with me,” she wrote.

She added: “We both did things to each other that lost trust, so my only option was to break off. I was surprised that I’ve come so far that there’s no turning back from being a mother. I fell in love as soon as I saw the face and heard the heart beating.’

She went on to say that she’s dealing with “heartbreak” and doesn’t feel like having a mother is going to stop her from “making money.”
