An Amazon employee who was supposed to deliver a package in Nottinghamshire, UK, returned from his delivery mission with a bicycle in his vehicle that he had stolen from a 12-year-old boy.
The family, who had a package delivered, received a visit later that day from their child's friend Kyren, who cycled to their home in Nottinghamshire, the Nottingham Post reported.
But the bike, a Christmas present for the teenager with ADHD, which had been left outside in the garden of the house next to a container, was no longer in its place after the Amazon delivery driver passed through, the local newspaper said.
This is because the police quickly made the connection between the Amazon employee's passage and the disappearance of the bike, thanks to viewing the images from the surveillance camera of the family's neighbor who contacted the police.
According to the images captured by the security camera, we can see the delivery man dropping off the package, watching the bike, walking away before returning to the location to load the mountain bike into his Amazon company vehicle and driving off with a bang.
The mother, who believed that the theft had been committed by “a young person who wanted to earn some money”, did not return when she learned that the act had been committed by an employee of the American company, who stated that the Drivers involved no longer “deliver packages for Amazon”.
