Ana Hickmann’s husband has been banned from Record for three years, ‘s website says

Sao Paulo

According to columnist Daniel Castro of Notícias da TV, businessman Alexandre Correa, husband of Ana Hickmann, was banned from attending the Record channel in Barra Funda, São Paulo, for three years. Correa reportedly argued with security guards after questioning the identification process to use the station parking lot.

The columnist also says that the businessman left threats in his inbox after he was upset by a note Castro wrote about Ana’s first recordings for the show Tudo É Possível. At that time the journalist wrote for Sheet.

Wanted, Correa did not respond to this newspaper’s request for comment on the incident. Record also did not respond to a request for clarification about Correa’s alleged ban from the station’s premises.

“Correa left two threatening messages in my mailbox. In one of them he said in clear letters that he would ‘break me’ if he found me. Folha de S.Paulo, the newspaper where I worked at the time, advised me to write a newsletter incident in the 77th Police District,” explains Castro in his column.

However, when he moved to Record, Castro claimed to have been advised to abandon the complaint by Antônio Guerreiro, the network’s vice president of journalism. According to the columnist, Guerreiro said it wouldn’t look good if an employee sued “the biggest star in the house.”

On Saturday, presenter Ana Hickmann filed a complaint against her husband for assault and domestic violence. The recording came after military police were called about an argument between the couple in which Correa allegedly attacked the presenter.
