Andrea Dipr He is a well-known Italian TV and social media personality who has managed to carve out a large number of admirers and protesters over time.
After his dark period, lost between using drugs and the wrong companies, Andrea Diprè decides to make a change by giving up old vices and focusing on his growth as a social icon.
The first steps of Andrea Diprè
Andrea Diprè was born in Tione di Trento in 1974. Originally from Stenico, the town where he grew up and where he received a strict Catholic upbringing which led him to attempt an ecclesiastical-political career. He begins his law studies and, after three years of legal training, becomes a lawyer at the court of Naples.
After becoming a lay bishop, he ran unsuccessfully for the regional Margherita list in 1998. He then tries to run for mayor of Stenico, but things don’t go as desired on this occasion either. He became President of the Provincial Pastoral Council and used that position to land the Telepace column on regional television, entitled Life in the Diocese. Andrea became known for his anti-homosexual outbursts, which got him noticed on the TV show Blob, which aired some excerpts from the column.
The bracket as art critic
After moving away from his old political parties and harboring a certain dislike for the Church that abandoned him during his elections, he joins the Lega Nord.
The aim was to be able to access Tele Padania, where he hosts a program called “Giovani Padani”.
This experience as a presenter also ended and in 2001 he began promoting aspiring painters as an art critic in his new TV column “Andrea Diprè’s choice” until 2012.
During this period he also took part in the programs “La grande notte del lunedi sera e Artù” by Gene Gnocchi and in the “Maurizio Costanzo Show”.
In 2011 he took part in the program “Mi manda Raitre”, in which he was accused of cheating on his clients’ painters and in which he had a heated argument with the art critic Achille Bonito Oliva. He is later knocked off the bar and his television work becomes more difficult. Tired of television, he decides to publish his clients’ interviews on YouTube.
The relaunch on social media
Drugs certainly played a central role throughout his life and today Andrea Diprè admits that they devoured him and made wrong choices. Thanks to the help of various influencers, Andrea is fighting his addiction and trying to detox to live a more peaceful and addiction-free life.
