Actor Jon Voight has ripped apart anti-Israel posts from his famous daughter Angelina Jolie, branding them “lies” and saying: “The Israeli army must protect your soil.”
Jolie strongly condemned the IDF’s response to the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks that killed 1,400 people, most of whom were civilians.
But in a video posted online, Voight, 84, didn’t hold back his criticism of his daughter Jolie, saying, “I am very disappointed that my daughter, like so many, has no understanding of God’s glory and God’s truths.”
Jolie, a former special envoy to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, accused Israel of “deliberately bombing children, women and families who are deprived of food, medicine and humanitarian assistance” in violation of international law.
In response, Voight said he was “disappointed” that his daughter did not understand that Hamas’ goal was “the destruction of the land of the Jews.”

“This is about destroying the history of God’s land, the Holy Land, the land of the Jews. This is justice for God’s children in the Holy Land,” Voight continued.
“The Israeli army must protect your soil and your people.” This is war. It won’t be what the left thinks, it can’t be civil now.
“Israel has been attacked by inhumane terror against innocent babies, mothers, fathers and grandparents,” Voight noted. “You fools call Israel the problem, you should look at yourselves and ask: Who am I?” What am I? And ask God if I am learning the truth or am I being lied to and following everyone else? He who understands the truth sees the lie.’
“These animals want to exterminate Jews and Christians,” he continued. “You see that the Palestinians were not neglected financially.” They received huge cash injections that they did not share with the people. Instead, they made weapons to vent their anger.
“The people of Israel care about the people. They love and appreciate. Something these animals don’t understand. Justice will prevail.’
Voight urged Jolie to reconsider her opinion on Israel’s role in the war: “Hamas and this deception by their government are destroying their own people,” he added.
He also praised the “great heroism” of the Jewish people in the face of a series of tragedies throughout history, from the Holocaust to the recent “Hamas Holocaust.”
Voight’s comments have received more than 80,000 likes so far and came after Jolie made a series of posts on Instagram condemning Israel for the bombing of Gaza.

One of the most celebrated actors of his generation, Voight won an Oscar in 1978 for his Jane Fonda collaboration “Coming Home,” while also being nominated three other times.
Voight, whose roles in “Midnight Cowboy” and “Deliverance” catapulted him to Hollywood fame, is perhaps better known for his connection to right-wing politics in recent years.
After abandoning his liberal views of the 1960s and 1970s, he has been a vocal supporter of the Republican Party ever since.
Voight continued to express doubts about President Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election and was a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Voight was estranged from Jolie for almost seven years in the early 2000s.
In her own posts, she claimed that Israel’s actions were “creating new, urgent needs for humanitarian assistance every day.”
While addressing the war between Israel and Hamas, the 48-year-old Oscar winner revealed in recent weeks that she, “like millions of people around the world,” was “sick and angry about the terrorist attack in Israel.” “caused the death of…” so many innocent civilians.’
In her latest post, shared with her more than 14.6 Instagram followers, the mother of six reveals that she spent her time wondering “how she can best help.”
“I, too, pray for the immediate and safe return of every hostage and for the families who bear the unimaginable pain of the murder of a loved one.” “Especially the murdered children and the many children who have now become orphans,” he wrote Star.
She continued: “What happened in Israel is an act of terrorism.” But that cannot justify the innocent lives lost in the bombing of a civilian population in Gaza who has nowhere to go, no access to food or water, none has the ability to evacuate and does not even have the basic human right to cross a border or seek refuge,” Jolie added.
“Because of my work with refugees for 20 years, my focus is on people who have been displaced by violence in every context.”
In a follow-up post with images of demolished buildings, Jolie compared Gaza to an “open-air prison.”
“This is the deliberate bombing of a captive population with nowhere to escape,” she said.
“Entire families are being murdered.” “As the world watches, and with the active support of many governments, millions of Palestinian civilians – children, women and families – are being collectively punished and dehumanized while being deprived of food, medicine and humanitarian assistance in violation of international law.” Jolie said.
“By refusing to call for a humanitarian ceasefire and preventing the UN Security Council from imposing a ceasefire on both parties.”
“World leaders are complicit in these crimes,” she said.
Angelina Jolie calls for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Israel in a post on Instagram. She is seen in 2021 speaking as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees
According to the UNHCR website, it “conducted more than 60 field missions to bear witness to suffering and resilience and call for urgent solutions to protect the rights and security of displaced people.”
In December 2022, she “stepped back from her role as special envoy to engage on a broader range of humanitarian and human rights issues.”
“Gaza has a population of over 2 million people (half of them children) who have been living under a severe blockade for almost two decades, in addition to decades of displacement and statelessness,” Jolie emphasized in her post.
“The few aid trucks that are arriving represent only a fraction of what is needed (and were delivered daily before the current conflict), and the bombings are creating desperate new needs for humanitarian aid every day.”
Jolie went on to condemn “the denial of aid, fuel and water,” saying it “collectively” punishes all people, including innocent civilians and children.
“Humanity calls for an immediate ceasefire.” “The lives of Palestinians and Israelis – and the lives of everyone worldwide – are equally important,” she concluded. “Everything must be done that can prevent civilian casualties and save lives.” Like many others, I have donated to medical relief efforts. “I decided to support the work of Doctors Without Borders and followed their reporting.”
Voight’s targeting of his daughter is not the first time he has denounced Hollywood stars for their attacks on Israel.
In 2014, Voight branded Spanish film stars Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem “ignorant” after they condemned Israel for its military action in Gaza.
He claimed the pair were helping to “fuel the fire of anti-Semitism that is currently raging around the world” after they called on Europe to condemn Israel’s bombing of Palestinian territories at the time.
The Spanish celebrities who spoke out against Israel’s actions in Gaza called on the EU to “condemn the bombing of Palestinian civilians on land, sea and air.”
“Palestinians’ homes are being destroyed, denied water, electricity and free access to their hospitals, schools and fields, while the international community does nothing,” they said at the time.

Over the weekend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defied calls from Pope Francis and Middle Eastern leaders for a ceasefire in Gaza as the IDF blew up the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing “encirclement” campaign against the enclave.
Entire buildings in the Gaza Strip were engulfed in fire as the IDF continued its bombing campaign, as the Israeli prime minister told IDF troops at the Ramon air base in southern Israel that the war would only end when Hamas was completely destroyed.
“Our enemies misjudged us. “Without the return of the hostages, there will be no ceasefire,” Netanyahu said.
“This should be completely removed from the lexicon.” This is what we say to our friends and our enemies. We’ll just keep going until we defeat them. We have no alternative.’
The hardline rhetoric comes as world leaders, including immediate neighbors, pleaded with the 74-year-old leader to stop the incessant bombardment of the enclave.
Pope Francis called for humanitarian aid and assistance to injured Gazans to ease the “very serious” situation.
“I keep thinking about the serious situation in Palestine and Israel, where many people have lost their lives.” “I ask you, in the name of God, to stop and stop the fire,” the pope told those following his weekly Angelus prayer on Sunday Crowds in St. Peter’s Square.
“I hope that everything will be done to prevent the conflict from spreading, that the injured will be rescued and that aid will reach the population of the Gaza Strip, where the humanitarian situation is very serious,” he added.
