Singer Anitta voted in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro, this Sunday 2nd afternoon. Upon arrival in the voting area, the artist made the “L” with her hands as an indication of her support for candidate Luiz Inácio Lula Silva (PT).
She wore a green Tshirt featuring the character Rex from the Toy Story franchise, in criticism of Jair Bolsonaro’s (PL) speech about “becoming an alligator with the Covid19 vaccine”.
Anitta also took a picture with fans, voted, and left in less than five minutes. The singer declared her support for PT in July this year and has frequently taken to social media to criticize the current president.
The singer landed at Galeão Airport on Ilha do Governador on Saturday night 1st. She even stated that she was coming to Brazil for just one day to vote.
In addition to Anitta, other celebrities also demonstrated politically when registering the votes for the 2022 federal elections this Sunday.
