An emotion too strong, an unexpected meeting. Antonella Clerici didn’t hold back and burst into tears live. The reason? The presenter of È semper mezzaggiorno, the show that follows Italian families while they are mainly busy preparing and having lunch together, was finally able to hug again Anna Moroni, the historical protagonist of the Rai 1 show.

Smiling and enthusiastic, Anna Moroni thought about and created a surprise for the hostess of È semper mezzaggiorno. After an unexpected appearance on stage and a breakneck run, the chef hugged Clerici, who was visibly moved by her strong emotion in front of the audience. The two beloved television couples have spent more than twenty years of career in La Prova del Cuoco, “warming up” Italian cuisines with their recipes.
In 2018, Moroni’s farewell was broadcast on Rai1. According to reconstructions, the Rome-based chef would have had to travel every day to support Clerici on his new show, which will be broadcast from the RAI studios in Milan. One day, however, the two great accomplices found themselves where they forged a valuable relationship, in front of the oven, triggering nostalgia among the spectators.
