The French magazine “Paris Match” has no doubts: Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton would be a new couple. The newspaper published a photo of the two stars together on the cover on Wednesday morning in the streets of Paris. We read in the magazine’s columns that a love affair had been in the works for a few months, but the couple had kept the strictest secret about it. Bellucci and Burton would meet again after a long time at the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon last October and that’s where the spark would fly. Confirming what was reported by Paris Match, a quote from Tim Burton at the weekly gala from the past emerged: “I’m crazy about Monica Bellucci. I dream of being stuck in an elevator with her. She’s so beautiful…” the director had said.
Tim Burton was married to artist Lena Gieseke from 1989 to 1993 before beginning a relationship with Lisa Marie, who acted in several of his films. After separating from the actress in 2001, Burton’s heart begins to beat for Helena Bonham Carter on the set of “Planet of the Apes”: two children are born of love with her, but the relationship ends in 2014. Monica Bellucci instead she has a lightning marriage with photographer Claudio Carlos Basso and one with French actor Vincent Cassel behind, from whom their daughter Deva was born.
