This robot equipped with artificial intelligence threatens the world of art. In a trendy area of London, United Kingdom, the exhibition of a series of self-portraits of the robot creates an event in a gallery. “I find it a bit worrying, but you have to move with the times and experience new things,” says a young woman.
Autonomous artistic decisions
This new robot fascinates right up to the top of the British state. He was even heard by the Lords in the Westminster Parliament. In an unknown corner of the English countryside, the 20 Heures weekend teams visited the artist’s studio. Ai-Da is a false skin that covers eight computers, two cameras and a robotic arm. Its creator is a former gallery owner who surrounded himself with engineers. He wanted to create a robot that observed its surroundings and made artistic decisions independently.
