The character Wolverine first appeared in the comics of Marvel Comics. Also dubbed Logan and Weapon X, he is described as a mutant who has enhanced physical abilities.
His senses are sharp and he can regenerate quickly. It has three retractable claws on each hand, which it uses to slash and defend its enemies.
Its creation came after Marvel EditorinChief Roy Thomas asked writer Len Wein to create a mediumsized and fierce character.
Prior to his appearance in The Incredible Hulk #181, Wolverine was featured in a number of Marvel Comics advertisements and publications. Its design has changed over time.
In 1992, an animated series about the “XMen” was launched, originally shown on the Fox Kids channel.
It had a total of five seasons and 76 episodes and ended in 1997. In Brazil, the Rede Globo series was shown on the TV Colosso program and became very popular among children and teenagers.
Illustrator Bruno Moura used Wolverine’s appearance as seen in production to create a realistic version of the character.
Inspired by actor Jack Nicholson, he redesigned the character’s face and achieved a very expressive result.
