The film chronicles the life and career of Elvis Presley, from his childhood beginnings through his career as a rock ‘n’ roll and movie star, as well as his complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker (played by Tom Hanks).
The biopic also stars DeJonge as Priscilla Presley, Dacre Montgomery as Steve Binder, who directed Elvis’ infamous 1968 comeback special, and Luke Bracey as Jerry Schilling, a talent manager and member of the Memphis Mafia.
The cast also includes Kodi Smit-McPhee as country legend Jimmie Rodgers, Kelvin Harrison Jr. as blues legend BB King and Richard Roxburgh as Elvis’ father Vernon Presley.
