Avalanche in Norway overwhelms a group of 5 Italians: one is dead, another seriously injured

A group of five Italians were involved in one of the four avalanches that hit northern Norway today. This was reported by the Aftenposten website, citing the police: one of them died, two others were injured, one seriously, the others were unharmed. The group was on top of the Kavringtinden peak, a nearly 1,300 meter high mountain, a destination for hikers. According to media reports, avalanches were also registered in three other areas of North Troms with a total of four fatalities in the region today.
