Azov shows the world the photos of wounded soldiers in Mariupol

“The whole civilized world must see the conditions in which the wounded defenders of Mariupol are and act!”. The Azov Regiment, Ukraine’s law enforcement military unit, is showing the world for the first time the photographs depicting the drama of the war, with snaps of the soldiers wounded in the dungeons of the Azovstal Steelworks in the martyred city of Mariupol. This is reported by Ukrainska Pravda. Soldiers in need of immediate qualified medical care, living in completely unsanitary conditions, with open wounds connected with remnants of non-sterile bandages, but also without the necessary medicines and even without food. The nationalist paramilitary group then extends an invitation to the UN and the Red Cross to show humanity towards them and to reaffirm the fundamental principles on which they were founded by helping the wounded. Photos published in Ukrainska Pravda show some soldiers with upper or lower limbs amputated, jaws deformed and faces shattered with deep wounds from bullets or shrapnel. Among the images also that of a man making the gesture of victory.
