Rebeca Mota was one of Puxadinho's competitors on BBB24, but gave up giving birth after she couldn't withstand the pressure and suffered an anxiety attack. The decision was made in the hotel, where he was waiting for the announcement of his name, which would take place this Sunday (July 1) at the Fantástico. “Giving up was never an option for me,” he said.

“People were outside making Tshirts, they had their artwork done [para publicação nas redes sociais]. I had already spent everything I could on the card to get the clothes. Giving up was never an option for me,” he explained.

The dentist further explained that she receives full support from the production of the show directed by Boninho: “But when I found out that I would take part in the dynamic, I was already nervous. I didn't know what people would think of me if they voted for me. I received a lot of support from the BBB team, they were very nice to me.”

In the outburst shared on her social media, Rebeca revealed that she carries a genetic mutation called brca1, which is linked to triplenegative breast tumors and a higher risk of ovarian cancer. “I had to be very strong to give up something I had been waiting for for years. I never thought I would give up, guys,” he reiterated.

Mota discovered the problem four years ago and has since had to seek treatment for his mental health as he developed a disorder. “When I arrived before delivery, I didn't know how to deal with my feelings and started having crises. I only very rarely had crises when I had to undergo special examinations such as an MRI. That’s when I started feeling the same thing,” he clarified.
