Biden makes a mistake, calls Trump “president” in an interview and then corrects himself

In an interview with reporters upon his return to the White House after a trip to North Carolina, Biden said He called his rival “president” twice before being corrected and saying “expresident.”.

When asked by Globo correspondent Raquel Krähenbühl about Trump's victory in the Republican Party primaries in Iowa, Biden responded for the first time:

“I don’t think Iowa means anything. The president got about 50,000 votes, the fewest votes ever for anyone who won (the election).”

Then, when asked about US voters of Arab descent who said they would not vote for Joe Biden because of his support for Israel's war in Gaza, he replied:

“The president… the former president wants to ban Arabs from entering the United States. I’m not sure how much he understands about the Arab population.”
