The British-born singer-songwriter, 67, wore a leather jacket and black and white striped shirt as he watched the scene as he was honored with a star on the Walk of Fame this Thursday, January 5 should.

He looked great as a small crowd gathered around the area in front of Amoeba Music where his star will be installed.

The legendary singer happily interacted with loved ones as the Paternostro family – who have looked after the stars for three generations – prepared the tribute.

The rock legend’s star counts as star number 2,743 when placed on the famous sidewalk.

The coveted honor is bestowed on Billy in the recording category, continuing the practice of entertainment recognition that began in 1960.

In anticipation of the upcoming event, Hollywood Walk of Fame Producer Ana Martinez said, “Many rebels will be clamoring for their favorite rock star, Billy Idol, when he receives his well-deserved Walk of Fame star on January 5th.

“From the beginning of his career, Billy Idol has captured the hearts of many of his fans, who are finally able to visit his star and witness his induction into the Walk of Fame.”

Bonnie wore a flowy, pleated brown blouse and khaki pants as she watched her daughters play on the star-studded sidewalk on Monday.

She dressed the youngsters in red and burgundy dresses and filmed them during the unofficial performance.

Broad later took to Instagram to share the shot, writing, “MaryJane dancing in front of Grandpa’s future star!”

A cordoned-off strip of concrete was etched into the ground in front of the crew, waiting to be filled with the famous pink marble.

Idol made sure his fans were made aware of the upcoming ceremony when he took to social media last week.

He shared a flyer with his picture and a Hollywood Walk of Fame logo and wrote a caption letting supporters know details.

“Join me in Los Angeles this Thursday, January 5 at 11:30 am PT as I am honored with a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame!” he wrote.

“If you can’t make it on Thursday, you can watch the live stream ceremony at walkoffame.com,” he added, before signing off. “I hope to see you there! -BFI.’
