The family of late singer Roberto “Bob” Bissonnette is asking the city of Quebec to name a site in his memory, seven years after his death.
On September 27, an official request was sent to the city’s toponymy committee. The latter, who is responsible for naming or renaming places, streets and parks, must analyze the application and decide whether action should be taken in this direction.

The Bissonnette family politely declined our interview request but said they were comfortable with this approach and hoped everything would work out.
