FRISCO. After visiting the Los Angeles Rams earlier this week, All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner spent Friday visiting the Baltimore Ravens for free. ESPN.com.
Does that mean it misses Dallas geographically? Or skip the Cowboys entirely?
As of Thursday, Wagner’s hometown team in Los Angeles had yet to reach a deal with him. So he can keep shopping on his own… looking for what he says is one thing.
“I just want to win,” Wagner told TMZ Sports as he arrived at the Los Angeles airport on Wednesday.
To be fair to any contender for his services, no team has racked up more wins than the Rams, with two Super Bowl appearances in the past four seasons, a recent title, and seemingly consistent free agent and off-season success.
TMZ asked Wagner what he thought of the Rams situation.
“Sounds good!” he replied.
CowboysSI.com was the first to report that Dallas was on the line. Word has since come that there is “no momentum” in the talks. Both the Rams and the Ravens actually take it.

Ultimately, aside from “winning”, it has more to do with “finance” than “training.” This goes for the Rams, the Cowboys, the Ravens, and everyone else.
Wagner is a versatile talent, iconic Seahawk and future Hall of Famer. Is he going down as a performer? He turns 32 in June, so it’s coming soon. But last season, Wagner had a career-high 170 tackles in 16 games played, as well as sacks and interceptions.
“Fits”? Yes, it does.
“Finance”? Wagner is still on the market in part, logically, because of its price. He refuses a contract that paid him $18 million a year. still interested, but we don’t know about purchasing a plane ticket to DFW yet – that’s a good price.

The Cowboys have plenty of room to do something big, in part because of the Randy Gregory fiasco. Bobby Wagner would be great. For Dallas…but also for the Rams, Ravens, and everyone else he considers a “winner.”
