On Saturday evening, “Blob” dedicated its episode to Valentina Cenni and Stefano Bollani: Cenni di Bollani. The idea was to end the program “Via dei Matti n. 0”: it is the moment when the two of them sit at the piano and sing a well-known, very pop song. It was a loving homage in the style of “Two Hearts and a Piano” or Peynet’s The Boyfriends.
From “Via dei Matti n. 0”, a Rai3 program now in its third edition, we have already discussed several times, but the image that Blob offers projects us into a future that we cannot yet imagine .
The two could take part in the Sanremo Festival, as Adriano Celentano and Claudia Mori have done in the past with The Most Beautiful Couple in the World, or put on a variety show in the style of Casa Bollani, as they did with Abbe Lane and Xavier the case was Cugat (in which case they would have to replace their current dog Jobin with a Chihuahua because of the quote) or take part in a sitcom to repeat the housewife exploits of Sandra and Raimondo: extensive program.
According to music critics, Stefano Bollani is the most talented pianist on the Italian jazz scene: “In his playing you can hear the influence of Scott Joplin's ragtime, the penchant for classical experiments of Erik Satie, but also the visionary of Nino Rota.” He switches with absolute ease one genre to another. He is creative, not fixed, able to give shape, to mix all his studies and the different approaches with which he has learned, to see the piano as an extension of his senses.
Valentina Cenni is an actress and graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Royal Academy of Dance in London at a young age. So he started switching between acting, directing and even performing arts. He loves yoga meditation and the advice of shamans. He told Corriere: “We can't wait to wake up in the morning to bring music, harmony, reflections and friends into people's homes.”
The series of seven notes proposed by “Blob” also represents a moment of shamanic meditation so as not to lose the healthy practice of self-irony: sing as you please.
