If confirmed, the Colombian singer’s show would take place between the 25th round of the Brazilian championship and the second game of the Copa do Brasil final. According to O Globo, Shakira will also perform in Porto Alegre on the 19th and in São Paulo on the 23rd.
According to Thiago Franklin, Botafogo is also negotiating more shows at Nilton Santos in 2023, including one by the Mexican group RBD. For the time being, performances by Coldplay (March 25, 26 and 28) and singer The Weeknd (October 7) have been confirmed.
