“Partygate”: With this new video, the scandal in the UK is far from over
UNITED KINGDOM – This will not help the Tories. This Sunday, June 18, The Mirror released a video showing Conservative Party members celebrating on Christmas Eve in 2020. By this time, curfews had been imposed in the country and indoor rallies banned due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In the pictures we see people dancing at the Conservative Party’s London headquarters, chatting without observing social distancing and drinking rules.

At least 24 people attended the party, including two people who were on former Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s House of Lords nominee list, according to The Mirror.
BoJo lied about “Partygate,” according to parliamentary inquiry
Photos from the event had already leaked, fueling the “Partygate” scandal, but given the stills, the judiciary had not had enough evidence to prove a violation of the law. That should be a game changer.
On Thursday, June 15, the Partygate Parliamentary Inquiry released its conclusions, finding that former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had “deliberately misled” the British Parliament on the matter.
Despite his multiple denials, Boris Johnson has already been fined by London Police for the “PartyGate”.
