An MP in England has been accused of watching pornography in the House of Commons.
Tiverton and Honiton MP Neil Parish has been accused of viewing adult material in the Chambers of Parliament. Two colleagues are said to have caught him looking at the inappropriate material. Parish has identified himself as a suspect in an investigation but has declined to comment on the validity of the claims.
“Following recent allegations regarding the use of her mobile phone by an MP in Parliament, I have referred myself to the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner in the Commons,” Parish said in a brief statement on the matter.

In addition to refusing to comment, Parish has reassured his constituents that he will not take a break from governing and will continue with his duties as usual.

“I will fully cooperate with any inquiry and while it is ongoing I will continue to carry out my duties as MP for Tiverton and Honiton,” he said. “I will not be making any further comments at this time.”

His wife Sue Parish told the Times of London: “It was all very embarrassing.”
“To be honest, I was breathless,” she told the newspaper, adding that her husband “is a regular guy, really. He’s a lovely person.”
