Britney Spears’ father Jamie will NOT read her tell-all memoir … after the pop star called for him to be sent to prison for his role in her conservatorship

Britney Spears has been promoting her new memoir in New York, but her father won’t read it.

Jamie Spears, 71, says he’s heard it all before.

This is reported by TMZ, which spoke to a source close to the family.

It’s unclear what the Toxic singer included in the book about her 13-year conservatory under the direction of her father and another man.

Jamie took control of his eldest daughter’s life and finances in 2008 after some high-profile mental health issues.

It started as a temporary arrangement but became permanent at the end of the year.

In the years that followed, Britney, now 41, was considered good enough to work in what the former estate executor described in court papers as a “hybrid business model” but not good enough to control her personal life.

The estate controlled who her friends were, where she could go and “logged every purchase down to a drink at Starbucks,” according to the New York Times.

Britney also told the court that she was forced to use contraception and take medication against her will.

In a court appearance, she told the judge: “Ma’am, my father and everyone involved in this conservatorship and my management who played a big role in punishing me when I said ‘no.’ “ [to going on tour] “Ma’am, you should be in jail.”

Jamie’s parenting deficiencies and struggles with alcohol were also documented in his youngest daughter Jamie Lynn’s 2021 memoir, Things I Should Have Said, and those of his ex-wife Lynne.

According to People, Jamie was recently hospitalized for a serious bacterial infection but was transferred to an outpatient infectious disease facility.

Britney’s older brother Bryan, 46, is reportedly supporting the Stronger singer in her divorce from her estranged husband Sam Asghari, 29.

The two tied the knot in a star-studded wedding ceremony at the hitmaker’s California home last June.

The couple stayed together for just over a year before splitting, and the Lioness actor filed for divorce last August.

The end of her marriage is reportedly not discussed in detail in her memoir.

While discussing the tell-all story, the actor told TMZ that he wasn’t nervous and had already read it.

“I’m very proud of her,” the former model said of his estranged wife. “She put in a lot of effort.”
