Bruce Springsteen opens up about his “monstrous” duodenal ulcer

Bruce Springsteen, who is suffering from a stomach ulcer, announced his news.

During a Tuesday episode (October 10, 23) of his radio show From My Home To Yours on SiriusXM, the Glory Days singer introduced himself as “your favorite rock star having a bad time.”

The star and the E Street Band announced last month that they had been forced to postpone the remainder of their scheduled 2023 dates due to the 74-year-old singer’s stomach ulcer. The latter announced his diagnosis on September 6th, postponing three concerts.

“Let me take a moment and thank my fans affected by our postponed concerts for their understanding,” he said. I am deeply sorry, but that thing in my stomach, despite my ability to laugh about it, was a monster and unfortunately continues to rock my inner world. »

In late September, Bruce Springsteen and the band announced that the remaining dates of their tour would be postponed. Social media said he had been “gradually recovering from his stomach ulcer” for several weeks.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band kicked off their tour last February in Tampa, Florida, their first U.S. tour since 2016 and their first international dates since 2017.

A peptic ulcer causes severe pain and burning in the stomach, which can be made worse by not eating or eating spicy or acidic foods.
