The attacker was arrested. The attack began in one go
Federal police confirmed that “one person was injured and one suspect arrested”. A witness quoted by La Libre Belgique reported: “My wife saw a man armed with a knife on the subway going towards the city center.” According to another witness, the suspect also tried to continue the attack by running into the station and tried to attack a woman with a stroller. The attack allegedly started on one of the subways.
