The bangee jump bungee cord that was holding a tourist who was jumping in Thailand broke during the jump, causing him to fall into a lake. The height of the platform, 30 meters, corresponds to a 10storey building. He was in the hospital for three days but has since been discharged and is doing well.
The victim, who lives in Hong Kong, was bungee jumping Changthai Thappraya Safari and Adventure Parkwhich is located in the city pattaya. The incident happened at the end of February, but details only became known this week.
A video released by the Mothership broadcaster shows the tourist falling for several seconds, as is usual in sports. However, when he reaches the very end of the platform where he was supposed to be pulled up the rope, the rubber band snaps and he falls into the lake.

After falling into the lake, the tourist passed out in the water for a few seconds, but soon regained consciousness. So, with the help of the attraction staff, he swam out. He was then taken to the hospital.
“The pain was so severe that I felt dizzy. When my arms were outstretched, my armpit area was the most affected,” he said hk01.
Photos released by the tourist show the injuries caused by the free fall. His armpits were bruised, and after swallowing the polluted lake water, he eventually discovered an infection in his lungs. He was in the hospital for three days and has since been released.
The equipment, the company told local media, is duly approved and fit for practice. It is still not known why the rope broke.
