Car theft: Five suspects caught in Quebec –

The SPVQ arrested five young men for vehicle theft in the Charlesbourg area very early on Tuesday morning.

The five suspects are all between 18 and 21 years old. They were on Rue du Prince-Albert when they were caught red-handed by Quebec police.

In fact, it was a local resident who contacted authorities when he saw them being dropped off in the neighborhood. The latter is said to have broken the window of an SUV in order to take it away.

“They are currently in custody and must be picked up by investigators,” said Pierre-Olivier Lévesque, police spokesman.

The five people, who have similar criminal records, could face charges of vehicle theft and receiving stolen property.
