Cardinals vs. Seahawks Score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis for week 9 game

The Seattle Seahawks are clinging to a 10-7 lead over the Arizona Cardinals at halftime thanks to an impressive touchdown catch by Geno Smith’s DK Metcalf early in the second quarter that gave Seattle the lead. Smith found Metcalf in third and goal from the 4 yard line, rolled to the left and threw Metcalf for the hit in a narrow window at the back of the end zone.

Smith had an efficient day throwing the football, 15 of 20 for 144 yards and a touchdown (111.2 rating). Kenneth Walker was held in check by the Arizona defense for 31 yards with just nine carries.

The Cardinals scored a touchdown on their opening run for the first time in 14 games when Kyler Murray found DeAndre Hopkins with a 22-yard score midway through the first quarter to give Arizona a 7-3 lead. Hopkins, who has had the most receptions and yards since returning from suspension in Week 7, has his second straight game with a touchdown catch.

Murray is 14 of 19 for 101 yards with a touchdown (103.2 rating) and has six carries for 53 yards in the NFC West rematch with Seattle, which Arizona defeated earlier this year. The Cardinals drove to Seattle’s 31-yard line in the last minute of the first half when Murray hit a first down in fourth and fourth place. Ryan Neal stripped the ball off Murray and caused the takeaway, taking at least three points off the board for Arizona.
