CASA in the daily lives of two design entrepreneurs

CASA: in the daily lives of two design entrepreneurs – Le Journal de Montréal

A home renovation project can be disastrous for a couple. Imagine you work full-time with your partner in design. This is what Émilie Cerretti and her husband Stéphane Larente, who will jointly host the new CASA, do Backstage from May 22nd.

Things are going well for them and you can feel their passion for their work from the first few minutes. We accompany the couple at work, but also at home and during their own renovations in their chalet in the Laurentians. Stéphane has three daughters and Émilie has two, so there is a lot going on in the Cerretti-Larente household.

In the first episode, Émilie and Stéphane visit clients in Saint-Sulpice in Lanaudière to help them design some of the rooms for their DIY project, including the entrance, the office and the bedroom. .

Émilie and Stéphane make a big mistake because they are then found in Candiac, in Montérégie, with the parents of three boys who want to renovate two bathrooms.

In Léry, in Montérégie, Horror, the contractor in charge of building the architect’s house for a couple, screwed up his job and four years later, the plumbing work in the master bedroom bathroom is still unfinished. In the kitchen, too, carpentry mistakes have to be corrected, in short, there is a blatant lack of workmanship. Émilie and Stéphane are called to the rescue.

You can identify with their customers because they tell the camera about their renovation projects and you get to know them a little. They tell us what they would like to improve at home. For those who love decoration and renovation, the show is interesting: we see plans, materials and explain the different options available to people.

Émilie and Stéphane are supported in their business by Sonia Bernier and Valérie Lacroix, who complete their team. The two employees take care of the plans, 3D sketches and mood boards to support customers in their selection.

As we know, it’s never easy to make a decision when you’re faced with dozens of rehearsals. The investment is important and we will live with the end result for a long time. Émilie and Stéphane have to let their customers “sleep in” before making a decision.

We really delve into the personal lives of the two entrepreneurs, with a little touch of documentation. We are witnessing the birthday of Émilie and her “baby” Camilia, 18, and the wedding anniversary of Stéphane’s parents, Janine and Pierre, who have been together for 53 years. This party takes place at Émilie and Stéphane’s chalet in Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs, where the lovebirds take the opportunity to change the outer shell.

Produced by Trio Orange in collaboration with Quebecor Content, L’envers du décor will be broadcast on CASA from Monday 22 May at 8:30 p.m.
