Céline Dion has lost control of her muscles, the singer's sister, Claudette, told the Canadian magazine “7 Hours” in an interview published this Tuesday (19).

“What breaks my heart is that she was always disciplined. “She always worked hard,” her sister said. “Our dreams and theirs are about returning to the stage. In what condition? I don't know it.”

Celine Dion reveals diagnosis of rare neurological disease

According to Céline, the rare neurological syndrome affects about 1 in 1 million people and causes difficulty walking and even singing. The disease causes stiff muscles and painful cramps.

Due to the illness, the artist canceled eight shows in 2023 and postponed some of them to 2024.

“I have been dealing with health issues for a long time and it has been very difficult for me to face these challenges and talk about everything I have been through…It pains me to say that I will win. I'm ready for it.” “I will restart my European tour in February,” Céline said in an online publication in 2022.
