Jennifer Lopez is now set to play her in a film called The Godmother, co-written by The Wolf Of Wall Street screenwriter Terence Winter.
Speaking exclusively to in 2020, Griselda’s son Michael slammed the J-Lo movie, saying: “I find it more than a little insulting that they would try to do something without me and my family, the remaining Los Blancos , to consult.”

Family tragedy: Sofia is also no stranger to crime in Colombia, as her older brother Rafael was murdered there in 1998 during an attempted kidnapping to the south
Born in Colombia in 1943, Griselda quickly became a ruthless criminal, committing her first murder when she was 11 and her victim when she was 10, according to Maxim.
In the 1970s, she made a name for herself as a brutally vengeful, pioneering player in the Columbia-Miami drug trade that flourished in that decade and the one that followed.
Griselda married several times and gave birth to four children, the youngest of whom she named – with a touch of black humor – Michael Corleone Blanco.
In the mid-1980s, Griselda was jailed for three murders, two of drug dealers and one of a two-year-old boy.

She was released and deported to Colombia in 2004, and in 2012 she was shot dead by a motorcyclist outside a butcher shop in Medellin.
Sofia herself is no stranger to crime in Colombia, as her older brother Rafael was tragically murdered there in 1998 when a kidnapping attempt went south.
“We come from a successful family and he knew he was a kidnapping target,” explained Sofia, whose father was a rancher.
‘He always had bodyguards. Then one day he went out alone and was shot. I was devastated,” she added, according to the New York Post.
