Charlie Sheen's blonde, divorced Buddhist neighbor has pleaded not guilty to assaulting the actor after he was allegedly strangled in his rented Malibu apartment.
Electra Schrock – née Poag – is officially charged with “serious bodily harm with violence”. An initial charge of “forcible assault with a deadly weapon” was dropped.
A court heard Sheen was “quite anxious” after the shocking incident on December 20.
Schrock, 47, was arrested by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies shortly after that same afternoon in her rented two-bedroom apartment on the third floor of the same complex where the “Two and a Half Men” star currently resides.
Standing in a glassed-in area for defendants, Schrock said just a few words during her nine-minute arraignment hearing in Department 100 of the Van Nuys Superior Courthouse on Tuesday.

He said prosecutors are “essentially alleging that the defendant grabbed him in the neck area, grabbed him by the collar, which appears to be at the very bottom of the (prosecution's) docket.”
But prosecutor Nicole Flood told the court that Sheen was “quite frightened” after the incident.
She also said that Sheen had several stitches on his body and one “came out” during the altercation with Schrock.
Flood also said a previous elder abuse case involving Schrock is currently “pending.” In June this year, she denied a charge of “cruelty to elderly/dependent adults.”
“The court should be aware that the defendant has a diversionary case pending … an elder abuse charge,” Flood said.
“Incidentally, she was on a distraction when she committed this crime and attacked the victim in this case.” We believe this means the defendant poses a danger.
“The victim is very scared.”
