Charlotte Dawson has praised Jon Culshaw for his ‘scary’ portrayal of her late father Les on the stage show ‘Flying High’ as they pull on her father’s famous harness
Her famous father died of a heart attack in 1993 at the age of 62.
And Charlotte Dawson, 30, has praised Jon Culshaw, 54, for his “spooky” portrayal of her late father Les on stage show Flying High, which is currently touring the country.
After watching the play with her mother Tracy, 71, on Wednesday night, the reality star took to Instagram the next day to greet the performance alongside photos of herself pulling her father’s famous gurn with the actor.

Charlotte looked glamorous in a mint green off the shoulder mini dress which she paired with a pair of nude knee high boots.
She wrote: “It was so surreal to see @jonculshawofficial playing my dad in Les Dawson last night and flying up. Jon sounded just like my dad, the mannerisms, the way he looked. It was spooky.
“I was blown away mum and I was very emotional…thank you for playing my dad and his life so perfectly. He worked so hard, he had so many setbacks, but despite that he kept going and never gave up on his dreams.
Check him out now, a huge legend and a hero to many… and still loved by all after 30 years. Wish you were here so much, dad. but feel so proud to be your daughter.’
Surreal: After seeing the play on Wednesday night, the reality star took to Instagram to welcome the performance, along with snaps of herself pulling her father’s famous gurne with the actor.

Charlotte’s father – Les, a household name during his heyday in the 1970s and 1980s – died of heart failure on June 10, 1993 at the age of 63 – just eight months after Charlotte was born.
Les had three children, Julie Dawson, Pamela Dawson and Stuart Dawson, with his first wife Meg Dawson.
He later had daughter Charlotte with his second wife Tracy.
The comedian was known for his mother-in-law jokes, bad piano playing and housewife character.

Back in June, Charlotte paid tribute to her late father Les on the 29th anniversary of his death when she visited his Lancashire memorial with her son Noah.
Designed by sculptor Graham Ibbeson, the bronze statue was unveiled in 2008 in the ornamental garden next to Lytham St Annes Pier.
The reality star also boasts an honorary tattoo for her beloved parents on the base of her neck.
