Cleo took to social media on Friday (22) to counter the criticism she received after revealing her relationship with her father Fabio Jr. The artist expressed this in an interview with the program “Luana é de lua” by Luana Piovani, as the singer was not good to his mother Gloria Pires and also criticized his fatherhood.
After the response to her speech, Cleo spoke out and said she wouldn’t deny anything. She added that there is no such thing as a “perfect family,” although she and her father get along well these days. “I said that my father Fábio was terrible to my mother and was not in my life. That’s right, folks, and it doesn’t have to be a problem saying it. This is my experience, my life. I can’t lie about my life. There is a taboo that the family has to be perfect. And my family isn’t perfect, it’s like everyone else’s,” he emphasized.

Cleo emphasized that her relationship with Fábio is full of love and respect. “My dad is a guy I love very much. Because of all the things I said on the show, we had a very difficult relationship and we worked it out. Nowadays we have a very loving and respectful relationship, but that doesn’t mean I can’t talk about the things that happened.” Finally, the singer sent a message to anyone who was bothered by her story: “So, bring it on Get together in therapy or wherever you want and stop bothering me.”

Cleo says Fabio Jr. was an absent father
In the first episode of Season 2 of “Luana É De Lua”, a show by Luana Piovani, Cleo spoke about the separation of her parents, Gloria Pires and Fabio Jr., and explained how the decision affected her life. “I think I’m here because I’ve had stories about breakups since I was born. They weren’t my stories, but I lived them, as the daughter of the people who lived them,” she reflected. Gloria and Fabio Jr. were married from 1979 to 1983 and divorced when the actress was still a baby.
“My parents separated when I was 1 year old. So I have no memory. My father wasn’t very present. I kept questioning these things, but she (Gloria) explained them to me. I got along really well with all of her friends, I was the one who told her to start dating my dad, Orlando,” he explained.

In the conversation, which also included Titi Muller and Negra Li, Luana said that it gave new meaning to her own mother’s experiences as she now knows what her mother went through with her father. “Me too [passei por isso]“Cleo agreed.
