How much is a simple coffee at Cracco in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele? No, it doesn’t cost 20 euros, just 1 euro and 50, almost like in any bar. The photographer Andrea Cherchi demonstrates this with a shot published on his Facebook page Semplicemente Milano, dedicating the post to a lady with a certain degree of prejudice from an excellent price.
“I dedicate this photo of me and my coffee to the lady who told her friends outside of Cracco that you pay at least twenty euros for coffee here. Never speak without verification. A coffee at Cracco costs €1.50. Priceless friendliness and elegance as it should always be,” wrote Cherchi. The post immediately went viral, garnering thousands of interactions between shares and comments.
A few days ago, another similar story had broken the news. The Milano Segreta website, also with photos at the time, showed that breakfast at Cracco’s is not for the rich: cappuccino and brioche 4.80 euros, less than in the Autogrill.
“This is the result of what I paid for breakfast at Cracco’s in the gallery, with a brioche you will remember for a lifetime, silver and china tableware – reads the published post -. What if you the Listening to morons they make? Sensational posts complaining about exorbitant prices that they sit on the gallery, wait and serve stay fresh. Breakfast at the Autogrill actually costs more.”
Among the many comments were those who claimed everything was wrong. For this reason, the page was relaunched with another post: “For 24 hours the babble has been going on that I posted a fake receipt, thousands of comments I post ‘fake’, that it’s not well photographed, that it’s impossible is to get a cappuccino at Cracco in the Galleria Croissants for just over 4 euros. You inform yourself and you see conspiracies everywhere.
