Although Vended has not been in business long, Griffin Taylor has already achieved a lot and his father Corey Taylor is incredibly proud of him.
During a recent chat with Matt Stocks on the Life In The Stocks podcast, the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman expressed his admiration for his son, who is the lead singer of the nu metal band. vending
On the podcast (available below), he says, “There’s no better feeling for me than sitting on the edge of the stage and watching him play.” As a father, there were times when I wasn’t around because I was working, so I have trying to infuse so much joy and love into every second we had together. And then, of course, when he grew up and hit his teens, quarrels broke out, that’s quite natural, that happens to almost everyone, it’s just a mixture of misunderstandings about each other’s point of view, since always stepping into a different part of their lives a.”
He continues, “But now, how he’s really embraced his future and what he was born to do — which I’m very jealous of because he’s so damn good at it.” At his age, I wasn’t as good as I was terrible – our relationship has taken it to the next level.”
He concludes, “I’m so proud he found what makes his heart sing and I would follow him into battle any day if I could.” He’s a good boy, he’s great .”
Last November, Vended released the official music video for their latest single Overall, available from the previous link.
Meanwhile, Corey is gearing up for the September 15 release of his second solo album, CMF2, and he’s confident it’ll be “a record that people will remember.”
