Cassie Plummer was hospitalized after a violent row with her drug dealer on Monday’s dramatic episode of Coronation Street.
Cassie – played by newcomer Claire Sweeney – was seen begging Dean for a hit, but he got angry when he said she hadn’t paid him before and demanded £50.
But Claire was helpless as she begged him for a product, screaming, “Please, I’m desperate.”
Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) then got involved in the fight as he tried to help Claire with her injuries and offered to take her to the hospital.
But once they arrived, Cassie became uncomfortable with having to see the doctor and when she tried to escape, Dean confronted her again after following her to the ER.

Michael ended up getting punched in the face by Dean for trying to protect her while the drama continued.
Returning home to her son Tyrone Dobbs, she lied to his face that she was hurt while running to the bus after he had worried about her all day.
This comes after Corrie fans expressed their fears for Tyrone on last Friday’s episode after discovering Cassie was hiding a big secret.
The fan favorite was stunned to learn his mother was still alive after years of believing she was dead and furiously confronted his grandmother Evelyn for lying about her existence.
Upon returning to Weatherfield, Cassie was determined to get clean so she could reconnect with her son, leading Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) to believe she had beaten her drug addiction.
She claimed Evelyn blamed her for her own father’s death and was living on the streets when she became pregnant.
Cassie insisted she had been clean for months, did her best to isolate Tyrone from Evelyn, and insisted she come and stay with him.
But when Cassie ate dinner with Tyrone in his living room, viewers learned she was hiding a sensitive secret.

Opening her bag, Cassie revealed that she was hiding a box of nerve pain medication pregabalin, the very drug she claimed she had given up on.
Viewers were horrified that Cassie was lying to her son and quickly assumed she might be sneaking into his life to steal his money.
One tweeted: “Cassie will definitely try to take all of Tyrone’s money away from Tyrone so she can go back to buying drugs?”
A second added: “That Cassie has a scowl in her eyes and that ppregabalin is in her bag.”
A third wrote: “My heart breaks for Evelyn.” Cassie manipulates Tyrone, you can tell. Now Evelyn is completely isolated from her family.’
Viewers broke down in tears after Wednesday’s episode after Tyrone found out the truth about his “dead” mother.
For years, Tyrone believed his biological mother was dead after his grandmother, Evelyn Plummer, told him about it.
But he eventually discovered Evelyn’s heartbreaking lies when Cassie stepped in and dropped the bombshell, “I’m your mother.”
Tyrone grew up believing his mother was Jackie Dobbs (Margi Clarke), but in 2018 research into his parentage put him in touch with his grandmother Evelyn for the first time.
It was then that he discovered evidence that Evelyn’s daughter Cassandra was in fact his birth mother, but was told Cassie died of a drug overdose.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their heartache at the emotional scenes and admitted they burst into tears.
One wrote: “Poor Tyrone.” There’s so much to see all at once: kids turning into goths, grandma lying to him and mother rising from the dead…”
Another said: Poor Tyrone – the truth has torn his family apart. I hope he doesn’t let Evelyn down. “Yes, she made mistakes, but she was only protecting Tyrone.”
